The Futurological Congress Installation
In 2009 I was invited by a group of architects to lead the design team appointed to create an installation for Polish Architects Exhibition which was hosted by Barbican Centre in London. The concept of the exhibition panels was reflecting the underlying design process and therefore connected to the displayed objects.Flexible and lightweight panels could be installed in under 6 hours, flat-packed, and transported overseas. Each panel, including all its structural elements, was cut from a single piece of plywood resulting in a highly sustainable almost zero-waste design. The exhibition was invited by Polish Embassy to represent Poland during Singapore Design Festival and was visited by Daniel Libeskind.
